Lejeune Memorial Gardens is the home of several memorials honoring those that have sacrificed for our freedom. Walk the beautiful garden paths while taking in these memorials and remembering the history and bravery of our past. Some of the memorials incorporated in the Garden include the Beirut Memorial, Onslow Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the 9/11 Memorial Beam which is an actual beam from the twin Towers. These and the other memorials around the garden provide an educational and emotional look into our past.
Freedom Fountain is a breathtaking display. A large fountain honoring individuals who have served and are serving the United States of America. Medallions suspended in five arches surrounding the fountain represent each branch of the military.

The Montford Point Marine Museum has collected and preserved photographs, artifacts and other pieces of history with the goal of remembering and educating others about the Montford Point Marines. The museum provides a unique look into the past highlighting the history of the African American Marines that served from 1942 to 1949.
